The case of 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard has been a prominent story in the media since the young woman’s disappearance on October 23 of this year. Blanchard is the step-daughter of UFC fighter Walt Harris, and the athlete has been pleading with the public for weeks now in hopes that someone out there will be able to help bring Blanchard back home.
Multiple high-profile figures in the MMA community, including Dana White and Jon Jones, have contributed thousands of dollars to the reward fund to incentivize anyone who might have information about Blanchard’s disappearance. About a week and a half ago, it was announced that a manhunt was underway for a suspect in Blanchard’s disappearance: 30-year-old Ibraheem Yazeed, who was seen on video surveillance in the same Chevron convenience store in Alabama at the same time as Blanchard. Yazeed is now in police custody.
