UFC middleweight fighter and multiple-time IBJJF world champion Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza has announced that his next big endeavor will be opening his own jiu-jitsu academy.
The athlete revealed the news on social media, saying that he would be opening the Ronaldo Jacare BJJ Academy in Orlando, Florida. The exact date for the opening has not yet been released.
Souza is a celebrated MMA athlete in the jiu-jitsu community, and for good reason: the competitor has a decorated BJJ resume that also includes an ADCC championship title from 2005. He also famously defeated fellow BJJ legend Robert Drysdale in an ADCC superfight in 2009.
