An accident and a heroic act put the middleweight UFC champion, Chris Weidman in the highlights on the news today. The MMA athlete used quick thinking and attitude to save an elderly woman who lives in his neighborhood.

The information came via Instagram, when Weidman’s wife reported that a lady, aged 92, had fallen on a glass table, and had various cuts in her body, including the head. The elderly tried to call her daughter, while bleeding on the doorstep. And that’s when Weidman took action.

The champion, realizing the danger, went there to rescue the lady. The fighter took the elderly inside and cleaned her wounds. Then, immediately called the emergency to his residence.
