Mackenzie Dern faces Ashley Yoder on the undercard in Las Vegas on Saturday as she continues her progression from BJJ world champion to UFC star.
Mackenzie has for some time been branded the “next Ronda Rousey”, but she’s reluctant to embrace the comparison.

“We are two different people, different personalities, different histories, different obstacles we were facing,” Dern told TMZ Sports. “So I think the biggest thing is it’s a new era, you know? A new generation. It’s nice that people think that, but man, I’m not the next Ronda Rousey. I’m the new Mackenzie.”
Mackenzie’s gets quite a bit of camera time on “UFC Embedded” for someone on the undercard!
I didn’t see her in part 1 but it is still a tight episode. She is definitely in the latter parts though!
