Frankie Edgar could not get his lightweight UFC belt back.
He lost it to Ben Henderson at UFC 144, last February, in Japan
At UFC 150, held this Saturday night in Denver, Colorado, victory went Henderson’s way once again.
In a split decision challenged by Edgar, Ben kept the belt.
The scores showed how there was no consensus on the fight. Two judges gave 48-47 to Henderson, but one scored the fight 49-46 for Edgar.
The champion’s next opponent will be Nate Diaz, as it was previously announced by UFC President, Dana White.
The bonusses for the evening were: Donald Cerrone took $120,000 for the fight of the night and knockout of the night, Dennis Bermudez won $ 60,000 for submission of the night and Melvin Guillard took another $ 60,000 for making the fight of the night with Cerrone.
