There are just two days left to register for the summer Jiu-Jitsu by the Sea. This tournament could be the makings of a great weekend in Santa Cruz; especially since the weather is expected to be sunny and warm in California. So pack up your beach towels and your gis and have a fun-filled weekend.
The summer Jiu-Jitsu by the Sea tournament is held at Claudio Franca’s Santa Cruz dojo on June 18th. This competition is open to kids of all ages and levels: juveniles, and adults to seniors in the white, blue and purple belt ranks. It is also one of the last tournaments for kids in the area to participate in for the rest of the year. The other is the fall Jiu-Jitsu by the Sea. And, as always, all kids in the tournament go home with a medal.
