While Brazil’s Globo television network just broadcast the very first episode of TUF Brazil this Sunday, the US cable network FX is still going through the final preparations before airing TUF 15. The coaches for this season of “The Ultimate Fighter” are brawny bantamweights Dominick Cruz and Urijah Faber, who will face off in the season finale.
Dominick is the current champion of the UFC bantamweight division, and he generally does his gentle-art work with Lloyd Irvin.
Along with his TUF underlings. Dominick and Lloyd went work on their Jiu-Jitsu for MMA at Robert Drysdale’s team. “They’re training No-Gi with us here at our headquarters, and we’re thrilled that about what will come from this batch of great fighters,” said Robert Drysdale.
“Some big names of Jiu-Jitsu and MMA are also joining in the training, including Forrest Griffin, who is scheduled to fight Tito Ortiz, and even Frank Mir, Evan Dunham, Ross Pearson, Jeremy Stevens, Amir Sadollah, Brandon Vera, Tyson e Kyle Griffin, Jorge Lopez, Alex Gustafsson, Dustin Phillips, John Alessio, Dan Hardy and Wilson Reis,” Robert recounted.
Check out some shots of their training, and put in your prediction, savvy reader: will Urijah have what it takes to put the brakes on Dominick Cruz?
