The 2016 Rio Olympics have been very special to Travis Stevens, who is a world-renown jiu-jitsu and black belt. Travis has just pinned his latest opponent getting him that much closer to his first medal.
Travis Stevens semi finals have been some of the most exciting games up to this point, though these are just the preliminary rounds for the men’s 81kg tournaments.
This man has demonstrated true vigor by first beating Shaxzod Sobirov in an outstanding match. He also overpowered Ivaylo Ivanov by beating him to the ground and holding him there for 20 seconds. It was an immediate victory but one that meant a lot to him since Ivaylo is one of the best players in the world.
Travis Stevens will continue to battle his way through the Olympics this year with the same kind of intensity he has always brought to every match.
