Actor Tom Hardy — who is probably most famous now for his role as Bane in the final installment of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, The Dark Knight Rises — was on the mats today practicing BJJ with Britain’s Royal Marines.
This is fitting, considering Hardy played both a marine and a mixed martial artist back in the 2011 drama Warrior.
Hardy will appear as a stormtrooper in the upcoming Star Wars movie, The Last Jedi. In 2018, he will once again play a top comic villain when dons a black suit to play Spiderman nemesis, Venom.
