The Top 4 Competitors At The Eddie Bravo Invitational 13 Lightweights

The Eddie Bravo Invitational (EBI 13) is a sporting event based in Los Angeles, California. There is a lot of action lined up, and you can watch it all live on UFC flight pass or via PPV. EBI delivers an exciting event from the beginning to the end. The upcoming matches will feature some of the best lightweight competitors in the sports today. The participants will battle for cash prizes and a shot at the title.

Here are four of the top competitors.


Bill Cooper

Bill Cooper is an American grappler with a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. He trained at Paragon Academy under the supervision of Ricardo Miller. He is an exciting competitor and the youngest to achieve a black belt in BJJ. Bill Cooper also ventured into mixed martial arts, and he has competed in many prestigious organizations like the Strikeforce.

In 2008, Bill Cooper beat Ricardo Patino at the Future Stars event of mixed martial arts held in Las Vegas. Bill won the fight by RNC in a minute. He bot two more wins in MMA before returning to BJJ, where he got some more tournament wins.


Vagner Rocha

Vagner Rocha is also scheduled to participate in the event. Vagner is a BJJ practitioner and a professional MMA fighter. Vagner has 14 wins and 4 losses.


AJ Agazarm (OUT)

AJ Agazarm is one of the most recognizable figures in competitive BJJ. He comes from the US and is a former D1 wrestler. He has great scrambles and takedown ability, which has earned him numerous titles. AJ weighs 76kg and is well versed with wrestling, which he was introduced to by a friend. Agazarm just won second place at ADCC 2017 last month.


Garry Tonon

Garry Tonon is a BJJ black belt and holds medals in numerous events.  His reputation comes from various accomplishments in grappling events such as Polaris, Metamoris, and EBI. He is nicknamed the Lion Killer for his outstanding abilities and achievements. His specialty includes lower limb attacks.

The upcoming Eddie Bravo Invitational is a must-see event with some of the finest lightweight competitors, and it’s all going down Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 9pm EST / 6pm PST at The Oprheum Theatre in Los Angeles.
