In April 2001, Jon Weidler competed at Mass Destruction 1. He faced off against Andrew Steiger an impressive bout. Steiger found himself on the ground during the match. A standing Weidler was attempting to break his guard, which seemed unlikely. At some point, Weidler decided to try something risky, and he busted out the craziest front flip guard pass we’ve ever seen.
Weidler launches himself with a front flip onto his opponent, breaking his guard. From there, Weidler pounded on his opponent a few times, but the match didn’t end there. He wound up winning the match by unanimous decision, and that front flip is still an incredible feat to this day.
