In 2000 Rodrigo Comprido faced and beat Fernardo Margarida, earning the teacher at team Brasa his second world absolute title as a black belt.
Two years later the two were face to face again, with somewhat less fanfare, at Megaton’s BJJ Tournament in the US state of Arizona.
