Stipe Miocic Is Still Working As A Firefighter During His Preparation To Fight Daniel Cormier

UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic is gearing up to fight Daniel Cormier in the main event of UFC 252, but the work he’s putting in to retain his title isn’t all that he’s focusing on right now.

Miocic is also a firefighter, and make no mistake — he’s just as dedicated to that job as he is to his career as a professional fighter. In fact, he hasn’t taken time off from his work as a firefighter (a demanding job in itself) during his fight camp leading up to his bout against Cormier.

In a discussion with Miocic’s fire captain Ken Papesh, ESPN’s Marc Raimondi learned that the champ is still working at the fire station.

We don’t know where this guy gets the energy to work so hard at two demanding jobs, but we sure admire it.
