For those of you aching to see a Daniel-Cormier-versus-Stipe-Miocic super fight, we’ve got some good news for you.
It’s official: the two titans of the UFC’s heaviest divisions will be throwing down on UFC 226 on July 7.
The bad news — at least for Stipe — is that only his title will be on the line. This will give Daniel Cormier the chance to become one of the UFC’s few two-division champions.

But before these two go toe-to-toe in the cage, they’ll be facing off outside of it when they coach the latest installment of The Ultimate Fighter, TUF 27. This will mark the first time in history TUF features two coaches from two different weight classes.
That’s not the only history that could be made, either. There is a chance UFC 226 could host three champion-versus-champion super fights, something that has never happened before in the UFC. Along with Stipe versus Cormier, TJ Dillashaw may face Demetrious Johnson, and Cris Cyborg may face Amanda Nunes.
