As most people know, Freddie Roach has been Georges St-Pierre’s boxing coach for years now. St-Pierre hasn’t fought in the UFC since late 2013, but he never officially retired. He’s officially on a hiatus. According to Roach, that hiatus might come to an end sooner rather than later. Nothing is guaranteed at this point.
Per Freddie Roach: Georges St-Pierre Planning Six-Week Test Training Camp to Determine Comeback Attempt. If St-Pierre has the hunger for fighting after that camp, then he’ll return for one fight. At this point, the odds are near equal to him making a return or instead choosing to retire.
That shouldn’t stop anyone from getting excited, though!
