While things were going off on the mats at the ADCC in England, the traditional Brazilian Team Nationals were underway in Rio de Janeiro, this Sunday. And the big winner was team Nova União, for the second time in a row, followed by GFTeam and Marcio Rodrigues.
At black and brown belt, GFTeam beat Alliance at heavyweight with a team comprised of Ricardo Evangelista, Igor Silva, Alberto Ramos, Robson Lima, Marcus Vinícius, Wancler Oliveira and Manoel Fernandes.
In the same division of the master category, Nova União took gold at both light and heavyweight with the same war horses as always, like André Motta and André Marola. With another four golds in the other categories and ranks, NU reigned supreme at the event.
