The GMA members kept their routine of triumph at IBJJF tournaments this Saturday, in Miami.
Once again, our academies dominated the teams’ competition.
Rillion Gracie led the Gracie Elite Team at the top of the podium, followed by Romero Cavalcanti’s Alliance and Roberto Cyborg and Pablo Popovitch’s Avengers.
Individualy, our members also had a great Saturday, as the list below shows.

Stephen Hall (Pesadelo BJJ) – Senior 1 open class champion and ultra heavy silver medalist.
Andre “Dedeco” Almeida (Best Way BJJ) – senior 1 ultra heavy champion.
Luigi Mondelli (Best Way BJJ) – master ultra heavy champion.
Ulpiano Malachias (Gracie Barra Westchase) – master super heavy 2nd place and open class bronze medalist.
Daniel “Montanha” Lima (Gracie Barra Miami) – master ultra heavy silver medalist.
Renato Tavares (ATT Vero Beach) – master lightweight champion.
Piet Wilhelm (Triton Fight Center) – master lightweight third place.
Roberto Alencar ( Fght Sports) – adult open clas and ultra heavy champion.
Leonardo Iturralde (Alliance Ecuador) – adult medium heavy third place.
Rodrigo Mendes (Gracie Barra Delray Beach) – senior 1 super heavy champion and open class 3rd place.

Kevin Synan (Fighting Chance BJJ) – senior 2 heavyweight campion and open class silver medalist.
Francisco Iturralde (Alliance Ecuador) – adult medium heavy champion.
