Twenty years of grappling and elite mixed martial arts fight experience, now coming to a regional blue belt division near you! Former UFC welterweight belt holder Carlos Condit is officially no longer a white belt. The fighter was promoted this weekend by “Nasty” Nate Harris over at Dark Haven/10th Planet in Albuquerque.
“The Natural Born Killer” has been training wrestling since his teen years, transitioning into MMA under the tutelage of coaches like Greg Jackson. As a UFC fighter he collected five Fight of the Night superlatives against Rory MacDonald, Georges St-Pierre, Johnny Hendricks, Martin Kampmann, and Robbie Lawler. He’s racked up 15 KOs, 13 submissions, and 2 decision victories…and apparently, somehow, never got belted during the last decade or so of fighting people for a living.
