After going two years without a fight, Ryan Hall now has an opponent lined up for UFC 264.
MMA Fighting has confirmed that Hall will be taking on Ilia Topuria at the July 10 event, which will be headlined by a trilogy fight between Dustin Poirier and Conor McGregor.
Hall last fought in July of 2019, claiming a decision win against Darren Elkins. He is currently on an eight-fight winning streak that started in 2012, remaining so far undefeated in his four professional fights with the UFC (which include a heel hook win over BJ Penn from 2018). He was scheduled to fight Dan Ige this past March, but was later forced to withdraw from the fight due to a hip injury suffered in training.
Topuria is currently undefeated in his ten professional MMA fights and had his first fight with the UFC in October of last year. He last fought Damon Jackson in December, winning in the first round via knockout. This, however, has been his only KO win so far — seven of his victories have come by way of submission, making this fight one that many fans will hope to see go to the ground.
UFC 264 will take place Saturday, July 10.
