Former WSOF Welterweight Champion and former UFC fighter Rousimar Palhares was knocked out in just 58 seconds last night when he fought in Fight Nights Global 85 on March 30 in Moscow, Russia.
Palahares took on the undefeated hometown hero Aliaskhab Khizriev. You can check out the fight below:
Rousimar is well-known — and unfortunately notorious — for holding on to submissions, particularly leglocks, for too long. His refusal to release holds has not only resulted in him being released from the UFC, but losing his WSOF Welterweight title.
Rousimar Palhares is not riding a two-fight no win streak.
