Ladies, we have a title fight.
UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will defend her title against Miesha Tate at UFC 168, according to reports on Tuesday.
The Rousey-Tate rematch will be a Pay-Per-View on Dec. 28 in Las Vegas, according to a report from MMAjunkie.com.
The female 135-pound fighters are currently coaching opposite of each other on the 18th season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show. As with all seasons of the show, the coaches fight at or after the show’s season finale.
Rousey and Tate first faced each other during the Strikeforce days when Tate held the promotion’s bantamweight title and attempted defending it against Rousey. The Olympic judoka, however, got the best of Tate that night, finishing the fight the only way she’s done all other fights: armbar.
UFC 168 currently has no other bouts announced, and the organization is yet to confirm the date and location.
