“Rowdy” Ronda Rousey — WWE star and the former and original UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion — has been “suspended” from the WWE.
Rousey attacked both fellow wrestler Alexa Bliss — who interfered in Ronda’s Money In The Bank match against Nia Jax — and General Manager Kurt Angle, who teamed up with Rousey for her debut WWE match.
In case you’re wondering about the quotes, it’s because, yes, it was all an act. Ronda hasn’t really been suspended. The fact that her suspension happened on live TV while both she and Angle were standing at camera-friendly, one-quarter front stances should have given that away.
Still, Rousey will actually get 30 days off. That should be good news for her husband, Travis Browne.
