In a recent interview, Dr. AnnMaria De Mars – mother of UFC star Ronda Rousey – spoke further about her negative remarks concerning her daughter’s head coach Edmond Tarverdyan. Dr De Mars had called Tarverdyan a ‘worthless’ person, and advised people to avoid training at his gym. Apparently, she did this because Tarverdyan acts in a dismissive way towards women. Dr De Mars claims that, when Rousey first met Tarverdyan, he had little time for her — even though she had won world and Olympic gold medals in judo.
