The world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is full of men and women that define on a daily basis just what being a class act is all about. This was proven once again at IBJJF 2016 Europeans when Romulo Barral giving both titles Open weight and Medium Heavy to his student, but it was actually two students who got the medals Gabriel Arges And Felipe Pena.
Thats right folks, as competitive as the world of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu can be, especially during tournaments, the legendary Romulo Barral gave two different medals from two separate weight class tournaments to a pair of his very own students. This just shows what kind of class act that Romulo Barral is, both as a legendary competitor and as a legendary coach. Sports are full of stories of selfishness and one person acting more important than the whole, but this story about this legendary BJJ coach shows that there are some true class acts in the sports world.
Once again Romulo Barral opens to his student and Felipe Pena becomes the 2016 European Black Belt Adult Open Class Champion! #ibjjf #ibjjfeuropean
