Roger Gracie is back to compete at the Pro League Heavyweight GP against Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida and Andre Galvao. There will be a $40,000 grand Prize!!
Roger (pronounced “haw-jer”) is a third-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu – the art his grandfather, Carlos Gracie, helped to create. He is also a multiple-time World and ADCC gold medalist.
Roger has not limited himself to BJJ, either. The 6’4″ Brazilian has been active in mixed martial arts for over ten years. He has competed in such major promotions as Strikeforce, the UFC, and ONE Championship, where he is the reigning Light Heavyweight World Champion.
Roger is the founder and head instructor of the Roger Gracie Academy in Kensington, England.
