10-time world champion and 2-time ADCC champion Roger Gracie will face Polish striker Michael Pasternak for the inaugural ONE Championship light heavyweight fight at ONE Championship: Ascent to Power, which takes place at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Friday, May 6th. The 34-year old Gracie holds a 7-2 professional MMA record with five submission victories. The UFC and Strikeforce veteran has defeated former UFC heavyweight champion Kevin Randleman, Ron Waterman, and Keith Jardine. His last appearance in the cage took place on December 5, 2014 at ONE FC 23 where he finished Muay Thai specialist James McSweeney by TKO in the third round.

Pasternak, a native of Poland, holds an 11-0 professional record in MMA with three wins by submission and three victories by KO/TKO. Pasternak defeated Rafael Silva by unanimous decision in his most recent outing at ONE FC 24 on December 19, 2014.
ONE Championship: Ascent to Power will feature three title fights. The main event showcases undefeated middleweight champion Vitaly Bigdash (8-0) against undefeated Aleksei Butorin (10-0). In the co-main event, ONE Championship will crown its first womens atomweight champion as undefeated 19-year old Angela Lee (5-0) fights Japanese MMA veteran Mei Yamaguchi (15-8-1).
