Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu was the big winner of the Miami Open, which took place last weekend at the Florida International University Arena, in Miami. The ultra-heavyweight won four gold medals in gi and no-gi. His best fight was against heavyweight champion DJ Jackson in the absolute gi final.
João Miyao also had a good weekend, as he beat Lucas Pinheiro for the light featherweight gi title and also won featherweight no-gi gold.
One Championship athlete Herbert Burns was also present and walked out with the lightweight no-gi title.
