That’s when the CBJJ (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Confederation) will hold the first ever Rio BJJ Pro, at the world famous Tijuca Tenis Clube.
The event will offer over R$ 40,000 (US$18,000) in prizes for its champions.
The black belt division alone will have a prize total of R$ 20,000 (US$ 8,000).
The event is open for all athletes.
