Felipe Pena and Adam Wardzinski finished off ACB JJ 12 with an exciting main event.
Pena started the match by scoring a takedown on Wardzinski and spent the remainder of the first round trying to pass his guard.
In the second round, Pena again scored a takedown, which was initially counteracted by an omoplata attempt by Wardzinski. Pena attempted to take his opponent’s back, but was unsuccessful, and the round ended in Pena’s favor with a score of 2-0.
Wardzinski pulled guard after the first minute of the third round, but Pena quickly passed. With a little more than two minutes left in the round, Pena took his opponent’s back and ended the match with a bow-and-arrow choke, making him the 95+ kg champion.
