One of the younger Gracies has added a huge win to his jiu-jitsu record and earned a new rank in the process.
Rayron Gracie, the eighteen-year-old son of Elaine Capparoz and the late Ryan Gracie, defeated Mathew Wade Greene to take home gold in the blue belt super-heavyweight division. He also earned silver in the open weight division, losing only to ultra-heavyweight gold medalist Bruno Ricardo Reagan.
That wasn’t all that the competitor achieved, however — he also earned his purple belt on the podium from his cousin Gregor Gracie.
You can watch Rayron’s big win and the rest of the action at Pans as it streams live on FloGrappling.
