Legacy Middleweight Champion and third-degree Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt Rafael Lovato Jr. will be defending his title in the Legacy FC 62 main event. The 32-year-old Ohio native will be fighting to protect his spot atop the middleweight mountain against Hugo, Oklahoma native Cortez Coleman.
Coleman is undefeated in the last three fights of his 13-6 professional mixed martial arts career. He has fought for numerous MMA promotions, including Strikeforce and Bellator.
Rafael Lovato Jr. is undefeated in his three-fight, MMA journey, and none of his matches have gone to the judges. He won the Legacy middleweight championship back in April when he knocked out Marcelo Nunes late in the second round of their match at Legacy FC 54.

Lovato is also a decorated jiu-jitsu grappler, holding championships in the Worlds, Pan-Ams, and Brazilian Nationals. He trains under Saulo Riberio.
Legacy FC 62 is set to go down on November 11 from the Firelake Arena in Coleman’s home state of Oklahoma. The main card will be aired on AXS TV.
