If you’re still geeking out about all the spectacular performances at this year’s ADCC, you’re not alone. Luckily, if you want to learn from some of the event’s top competitors or simply get your hands on some awesome signed gear, a few really big names have made donations to photographer Mike Calimbas’ Submit Harvey auction.
The first available item is a collectible rashguard worn and signed by Renzo Gracie himself at ADCC this year. Superstar Renzo Gracie team members Garry Tonon (who was a semifinalist in the 77-kg division) and Gordon Ryan (who won the 88-kg title) are auctioning off a private lesson, plus $200’s worth of Muscle Pharm gear. Xande Ribeiro, who brought home bronze in the 88-kg category, is also auctioning off a private lesson for charity. Other can’t-miss items include a hat and Maeda gi signed by Andre Galvao, plus a Choke Republic hat signed by Leandro Lo, Andre Galvao, and Eduardo Telles.
These are just a handful of all the products and services still up for bidding on the charity auction’s website. With nearly $25,000 already raised, Calimbas says he’s hopeful to make it to $30,000 by the end of the week, all of which will go directly to people in the BJJ community who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
