An Alliance black-belt and one of the world’s best female BJJ fighters in activity, Tayane Porfírio used the 2018 edition of Gracie Pro last weekend as another show of strength.
She was cast in the event’s one superfight between women, opposite Jessica Swanson (Soul Fighters) of the United States. After kicking off the match by pulling guard, Tayane came up and set about using her tight pressure game to win.
On top, Tayane gave Jessica very little space, and the conclusion came in the form of a precise armbar from the mount. Catch it here:
