Last year, officer Kristen Richmond was in a dangerous altercation with a suspect that left her bloody and bruised. But had she not been trained in Krav Maga and jiu-jitsu, the outcome could have been much worse, according to her.
Richmond’s story earned the attention of Gracie University’s Rener and Ryron Gracie, who invited the officer (now a BJJ blue belt) to train with them to expand upon her training. Richmond took them up on the offer, and now, the Gracies have released a video from Richmond’s time at the academy. Take a look below and see what she learned!
