After a successful and entertaining evening at the first Polaris Squads event, Polaris is continuing its new team endeavor in November, and Team Europe is coming back with a vengeance.
Polaris has announced its next Squads event, which will take place in November. While we have yet to see who will comprise Teak UK and Ireland (the team that won Polaris Squads 1), the promotion has announced the competitors for Team Europe.
The -75kg division will see Espen Mathiesen (Norway), Leon Larman (France), Pedro Ramalho (Portugal), and Tommi Pulkkanen (Finland) step up to try to bring home the big win for their team. In the -95kg division, Tommy Langaker (Norway), Adam Wardzinski (Poland), Luca Anacoreta (Italy), and Max Lindblad (Sweden) will be working to avenge Team Europe’s loss and defeat Team UK/Ireland.
Team UK/Ireland, which one Polaris 1, will have to put together a seriously high-quality team to beat these athletes. We’ll keep our fingers crossed for more updates soon, as this was a fun team event to watch the first time around and will hopefully get even better as time goes on.
Polaris Squads 2 will take place on Saturday, November 7 and can be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass.
