If you’re ready to watch some seriously skilled grapplers throw down for the chance to win $20k, you’ll want to be watching when Polaris hosts their Absolute Grand Prix at the beginning of April.
The promotion has announced an eight-man absolute tournament featuring some of grappling’s biggest stars. While a couple of spots are still yet to be announced, the Jiu-Jitsu Times has confirmed with Polaris that Kaynan Duarte, Nick Rodriguez, Adam Wardzinski, Mike Perez, Patrick Gaudio, and Frederic Vosgrone will all be vying for the $20,000 grand prize.
Polaris is also hosting a qualifier tournament at the Sweat Box in Bristol on March 7 to fill the last spot for the event. The competition will be between 32 men, all brown or black belts, who will compete no-gi under the Polaris Grand Prix rule set.
The Polaris Absolute Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, April 4 at ICC Wales.
