What’s there to say about the seventh edition of UFC on FX? Concussive knockouts, furious finishes and controversial decisions — a classic MMA event complete with overwhelming emotions.
UFC São Paulo, held last Saturday at Ibirapuera Arena, served up an award-winning knockout in the main event — a devastating highkick thrown by Vitor Belfort on Michael Bisping in the second round.
There was also C.B. Dollaway’s split decision win over Daniel Sarafian that won the prize for Fight of the Night, and a suffocating guillotine from Gabriel Gonzaga over Ben Rothwell.
Ildemanr Marajó’s Submission of the Night, a second-round kneebar on his countryman Wagner Caldeirão, added to the exciting night of fights.
