Earlier this week Anthony Pettis announced on Instagram that he has earned his brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He was promoted after he submitted Gilbert Melendez a Cesar Gracie black belt in their UFC 181 fight in December. On top of his 7 KO wins, Pettis also has 8 submission victories in his professional MMA career.
