The black belt absolute contest is underway at the Jiu-Jitsu Pan in Irvine, California, and there’s the promise of plenty excitement to come.
In one of the brackets, current champion Bernardo Faria and Luiz Big Mac are on the same side with a chance of facing Gabriel Vella or Marcos Bochecha in the semifinal. The second bracket includes the likes of Antonio Braga Neto, Ricardo Demente and Asian Open champion Marcos Souza on one side, with Léo Nogueira on the other.
That goes without mentioning the other stalwart competitors in the contest.
