Following a sold-out American debut in Denver, Colorado earlier this year, ONE Championship announced this week that the promotion has officially booked its return to US soil for 2024, where we will see a total of four events.
“I am thrilled to announce that ONE Championship is coming back to the US with four massive events in 2024,” said Chatri Sityodtong, CEO and Chairman of ONE Championship. “When we made our historic US debut with ONE Fight Night 10 on Prime Video, I was blown away by the support we received from our fans in the US. ONE is home to the greatest martial artists in the world, and I’m excited to once again showcase our World Champions on American soil. To our fans that haven’t seen a live ONE event, I promise you an experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”
ONE’s debut on US soil marked its most-viewed event on Amazon Prime Video to date, and featured some of its biggest martial arts stars, such as Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, Sage Northcutt, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Stamp Fairtex, and Mikey Musumeci.
While athletes for the followup USA shows have not yet been officially announced, jiu-jitsu star and MMA standout Garry Tonon has already tossed his hat in the ring for a chance to fight on one of these cards, previously telling the Jiu-Jitsu Times, “I’d love for people to just scream their g*d d*** ears off about getting me on [ONE Championship’s next American event].”
