ONE Atomweight Champion Angela Lee got into a serious car accident yesterday.
According to Evolve MMA owner Chatri Sityodtong, Angela was driving to her morning training, but fell asleep at the wheel. She got into an accident and her car flipped over five to six times.
Luckily, she only suffered some minor burns, a banged up body, and a concussion. According to Chatri, it would have been far more serious if she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Unfortunately, she will not be competing on November 24. She would have faced Japan’s Mei Yamaguchi.
