Again, Helio Mourão dominated the black belt division and hung on to his title of the King of the Northeast. The Gracie Barra representative overcame Daniel Silveira of Ribeiro JJ in the absolute final after beating Ian Carneiro of Nova União in the semfinal. Helio also claimed gold in the superheavyweight division.

Black belt Ian Carneiro of Nova União took top spot at lightweight, and Daniel Silveira of Ribeiro JJ won at middleweight.

In the team contest, Gracie Barra came in first, followed by Brasa and Evolution.
