The first 165-lb title fight in the UFC will be headlining UFC 230, and Nate Diaz and Dustin Poirier will be the ones fighting for it.
The new division has come after a push from multiple fighters to have a division between 170 lbs and 155 lbs.
Both Diaz and Poirier announced the news via their respective Twitter accounts on Tuesday night.

The match between the two fighters was originally going to be a co-main event, but it seems as though it’s been changed to be the main event of the show.
