Earlier today, it was announced that Nate Diaz would be fighting Dustin Poirier at UFC 230. But that plan seems to have taken a turn after it was announced at the subsequent press conference that Conor McGregor would be headlining UFC 229 in a fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Diaz expressed his displeasure with the decision in a tweet directed at the UFC and also in an interview with the paparazzi outside of the press conference.
I’m not fighting on that show *** the @ufc
