In professional wrestling, double-stomping your opponent’s abdomen is standard fare. In MMA, it’s very, very illegal. So when Brian Hall executed this “technique” on Jeremy Rogers at a V3 Fights event on Saturday night, the referee had no choice but to call the fight and rule it “no contest.” Stomping on a grounded opponent with one or two feet is illegal in most MMA events, so Hall would be wise to avoid these pro-wrestling shenanigans in the future.
THAT'S F@*#%* ILLEGAL! Brian Hall with an illegal stomp to Jeremy Rogers' midsection. Fight will be called a no contest. #V3Fights68 pic.twitter.com/p8jovEhJes
