Cristiane Justino, otherwise known as Cris ‘Cyborg’, made people sit up and take notice after her masterful display at UFC 198. The sequence of events that occurred before she signed an agreement with the UFC was littered with obstacles and roadblocks. Nonetheless, the company eventually found an opponent, in Leslie Smith, who would consent to a catchweight fight with Justino, so she could have a platform to enter the elite fight game.
Impressive performance by @criscyborg tonight!! What a powerful woman! Congrats on making 139lbs! 4 more and we can have a title fight!

Justino is usually a featherweight, however before her bout at UFC 198 she weighed 139 pounds. This is only four pounds over the limit for bantamweight. After seeing Justino defeat Smith in less than a minute and a half, UFC Female Bantamweight Champ Miesha Tate posted on social media to challenge her to a world title bout. Some people are skeptical about whether Miesha Tate Vs Cyborg could ever happen in reality, but it is certainly an intriguing prospect.
