UFC Middleweight Champion “The Count” Michael Bisping is reportedly being sued for strangling a man at a local gym.
According to TMZ (reported by MMA Mania) The Count went crazy on a man because he took his weights. Bisping then called the man names before he began choking him. The man claims he felt himself losing consciousness until another gym patron broke the two up.
The victim also claims he has had to see doctors and suffers from anxiety and nightmares because of the attack. He is suing Michael Bisping for assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, just to name a few.
So far, no charges have been filed due to insufficient evidence.
Michael Bisping is set to take on former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre on November 4 at UFC 217.
