Michael Bisping Has Officially Announced His Retirement From MMA

After fourteen years of professional fighting, former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping has announced his retirement from mixed martial arts.

Bisping made the announcement on the Believe You Me podcast and explained his reasons for ending his career, including continuing problems with his right eye and the risk of physical and mental problems that come with lengthy fighting careers.

The former fighter finished his career 30-9, with sixteen wins via knockout. He was the first fighter from the UK to both headline a UFC event and become a UFC champion.
