Male athletes hoping to try their hand at qualifying for ADCC 2021 by competing at the European/African/Middle Eastern Trials will have to wait a couple more months.
The promotion announced on social media that the event would now take place on December 19 of this year due to “current international travel restrictions.”
The news comes a month after the location for the event was changed from Moldova to Poland. As of now, the event is still scheduled to be held in Poland.
The divisions are listed below:
- Male: -65.9kg, -76.9kg, -87.9kg, -98.9kg, and +99kg
- Masters (Male): 65.9kg, -76.9kg, -87.9kg, -98.9kg, and +99kg
- Female: -60kg and +60kg
Winners of the adult male categories will qualify for the 2021 ADCC World Championship, which is planned to be held in the United States. The date for the second European Trials, which would allow women to qualify for the world championship, has not yet been announced.
The date for the men’s Asia & Oceania Trials is still set for December 5.
