The event was full of excitement, with lots of submissions and even a bit of blood, as the ladies of the first-ever Medusa event showed up and showed out.
Ste-Marie, the Bantamweight champion, expressed her pride in the post-fight interview, “I’m honestly so happy… To have it all come together means more than anything… I feel great [in Combat Jiu-Jitsu]. I wanna be the best. There’s no ebay around it, so you have to fight the best.”
Strawweight Champion Fatima Kline gave her thanks to God, “I put a lot of preparation into this inside and outside of the gym. But, I can only do what I can physically, God’s got the rest. I owe this to him.”
